It's dangerous because jaguars are the main predators in the rainforest, and for some overpopulated species in the rainforest, jaguars are the creatures only predator, and with the jaguar to keep the population in control, they'd overpopulate and would all get sick and die or eat all their food source, thus endangering the other species who depend in that food source as well as themselves. So this is why it's dangerous if Jaguars become extinct.

Jaguars are not listed as endangered, but near threatened. Also, the jaguar shares its habitat with another big cat, the puma.

Is elephant getting extinct or already extinct?

elephants are close to getting extinct however they are not extinct. They are getting closer to extinction as there habitats are being destroyed as well as there food sources.
