a lion dies because maybe that when they make their boundries (territory) and an animal comes to it they will fight and sometimes they die.
That could be your answer i think
The Cave Lion probably became extinct because of the usual answer: the climate (temerature), the terrain (gruond) <(ground), and the plants. The plants keep the herbivores (plant eaters) alive, and they feed the carnivores. If an animal cant get the food it needs, it will die. The temp. could get too warm or cold for the animal, so it'll die. The ground will change, and so will the plantlife thet is growing on it. Also, if they egt

the "pre-historic" cave bear is the exact same species as say a grizzly bear found today. the only difference is, as with a lot of animals from say 15000 years ago is they were much larger then. the planet nibiru came dangerously close to the earth in it's last eliptical orbit around the sun. when it it did, it broke the water vapor canopy that was around the earth in those days. when this happened the water fell to the earths surface and it took a time before the earth could equilibrate the new moisture into the atmosphere, creating todays weather patterns.
anyways, before that gravitational field broke, the conditions on earth were more like a hyperbaric chamber with increased oxygen levels and way less of the damaging sun rays that get through todays atmosphere. the result is that some plant and animal species were maybe 2-3 times the size of todays modern counterparts. for example you'll hear scientists say: discovery of a large sloth like animal, or a large deer like animal etc etc. you can grow fish in a hyperbaric chamber and they grow a lot larger and faster than a regular counterpart. i believe even some men were quite large then too, but it's all speculation...
i would say though, that some species for whatever environmental reason either changed or died out since then. like wooly mammoth and saber tooth cat. (as a side note, scientists can't agree as to exactly how it used it's large incisors, but that's off topic) but it would appear that species die out, even if there is no catastrophic event like the dodo and the auroc...
Lions are endangered due to two main reasons.
Loss of habitat - with growing human populations, humans are venturing deeper and deeper into forests in search of land thereby shrinking the lions habitat
Hunting - killing and hunting lions was considered a brave mans sport in the early 1990's. This caused a significant demise in lion numbers.
Governments worldwide have banned hunting lions and as a result, their numbers are stabilizing as of now.
The way lions are going to extinct is that they don't have much food to eat everyday. They eat meat so they couldn't catch enough meat because now they are to hungry
people hate them and like there fur and farmers animals are eaten by them and people just hate them!
not known yet
legends tell that when there was know way to get food but hunting and fishing, people thought that cave lions were the best tasting, so they killed a lot of cave lions for them to eat and so before the cave lionesses could reproduce with lion cubs, they were all killed,so now there are no more cave lions
They are not extinct.
Nowhere! They have been extinct for many thousands of years.
The cave bear, and the huge short faced bear.
back in the ice age cave bears were alive and they lived in Europe
yes, they died hundreds of thousands of years ago. :P
Yes, there are extinct bears. Two that you may have heard about are the cave bear and the dwarf panda. There is also a dog-bear, but we are not sure if it was really a bear.
They become extinct.
What do you think might happen to acommunity if grizzy bears suddenly become extinct
polar bears
Grizzly Bears are not extinct.
The Neanderthals ( cave men ) killed them for food and they used their fur as blankets.
The cold did not provide enough food for them and they ended up dying out.
