This is because humans think we are moreimpotent then any other species and so therefore in order to save " the human race" we have to put animals though the pain and human suffering and tourer to save us...but how says we are more or even less impotent then animals? and who are we to say "most animals don't feel pain"? but what they need to realise is that we all came on the earth the same way and who are we to kill a species in order to save another !!!!
