Some animals take a very long time to mate, so the population of that animal slowly decreases. Pollution takes away a lot of breathing air, so animals don't have the right kind of air to breath. A whole lot of people kill and hunt animals. So, they die off. Deforestation is a major problem with a whole lot forest living animals. We humans take much of the forest habitat away because we cut down trees, and use the wood for stuff to build homes with.

All species extinctions are caused by one thing: the species is unable to adapt to changes in its environment. These changes can include climate change, altering the quantity of their food supply (or eliminating it), or the arrival of new competition, etc.

The reason that most endangered animals today are threatened is from one of a few reasons (in no particular order); first, is habitat loss, caused by logging, farming, etc, second is overhunting, and third is climate change. There may be a few smaller reasons that effect a few species, but those are the most common.

Extinction

What is the disappearance of a species from all part of an environment?

The disappearance of a species from all parts of an environment is known as extinction. This occurs when the last existing member of a species dies, leading to its complete disappearance from the planet. Extinction can be caused by various factors, including habitat destruction, climate change, pollution, and hunting.

What factors generally cause mass extinction?

Factors that generally cause mass extinction include natural disasters (such as asteroid impacts or volcanic eruptions), climate change, environmental changes, and human activities like deforestation, pollution, and habitat destruction. These factors can disrupt ecosystems and lead to the widespread extinction of various species.

What is the final result of secondary succession adaptation rebuilt ecosystem competition or final extinction?

The final result of secondary succession can vary depending on the specific conditions and factors involved. It could lead to the adaptation of species to the changed environment, the rebuilding of a diverse ecosystem, competition among different species for resources, or in some cases, eventual extinction for certain species that are unable to thrive in the new conditions.

What two factors contribute to extinction?

Mainly over hunting or people moving into the animals natural territory.the main factors contributing to extinction of a species would be:> over-hunting of the species by man> loss of habitat> climate change> a disease or virus spreading to and from other animals of the same species

The death of every member of a species is known as what?

The death of every member of a species is known as extinction. This typically occurs when a species no longer has any living members, often due to factors such as environmental changes, habitat destruction, or human activities. Extinction can have significant ecological and biodiversity impacts.

What are the two factors that account for diversity of species?

The two factors that account for diversity of species are speciation, which is the process by which new species arise from existing ones, and extinction, which is the disappearance of a species from Earth. Speciation can occur through various mechanisms such as geographical isolation, genetic mutations, or reproductive barriers. Extinction can result from natural events, human activities, or changes in the environment.

When an organism disappear from earth is called?

When an organism disappears from Earth, it is called extinction. Extinction occurs when a species can no longer be found anywhere on the planet, often due to environmental changes, habitat destruction, over-hunting, or other factors that make it impossible for the species to survive.

This process is said to have taken place if every memeber of a species has died out?

The process you are referring to is known as extinction, which occurs when there are no living members of a species left on Earth. Extinction can be caused by various factors such as habitat destruction, climate change, hunting, or natural disasters. Once a species becomes extinct, it is gone forever.

What is meant by the term extinction?

Extinction refers to the complete loss or disappearance of a species. It occurs when the last individual of a particular species dies, leading to the permanent elimination of that species from the Earth. Extinction can be caused by various factors, including habitat destruction, climate change, disease, and human activities.
