Pandas, black bears, blue whales, dolphins, Bengal tigers. Loads of stuff. Ask anyone.
if farmers sopted hunting them then there would be more quaggai left and that would prevent the quaggai from being extinct
Polar bears are not becoming extinct. The population is actually increasing. Although a warming climate could affect their numbers, as of yet they show no decline in overall numbers. Source; World Wildlife Fund
One thing that is being done to stop Asian elephants from becoming extinct is to enforce stricter laws on poaching. Protecting their habitat is also a way to help them.
Poaching has been prohibited.
Threatened means that the animal is vulnerable to extinction and the population of the animal is declining. (ex: Certain species of whale population are being threatened.) Endangered means that the animal will soon be extinct if nothing is done about it. Some endangered animals are being bred in captivity until their numbers increase enough to be released back in the wild. (ex: Bald Eagles are an endangered species of bird. Pandas are an endangered species of bear.) Extinct means that the animal has completely died out and there aren't any left of this species. (ex: Dinosaurs are an extinct species of reptile. Dodo is an extinct bird.) Here's a visual: Threatened-------------> Endangered---------------> Extinct
I hear scientists are trying to recover DNA from extinct animals (such as a species of mammoth) to clone them back from extinction. I imagine that could be done with extinct wolves (e.g. dire wolves), too, although I'm not sure how far along they are with the science. Apart from that, there's no helping an extinct animal since they are, after all, extinct.
panda express puts money into them and some zoos
possibly DNA duplication and genetic research to find the genetic code of the extinct species to possibly revive them
Efforts to prevent the black panther from becoming extinct include habitat conservation, anti-poaching measures, captive breeding programs, and public awareness campaigns. Conservation organizations work towards protecting the species and its habitat to ensure their survival in the wild.
people are keeping more careful not to hurt the prairie dogs
A number of reefs have been established where fishing and other humans are prevented
