PS: we wont give them up because we want as pet!!! and wont tell you my name.
Yes,there bit may even be stronger under water becuase they are always more strong and confident under the water, when they are out off water they are usally shy unless its a wild one.
Oh and if you are talking about a wild one,I woudnt even suggest you touch it or even go near it unless you've got the turtleman with you,and turtle have been nowin to strike like snacks
It can't. When submerged, they hold their breath. Some turtles can stay underwater for days at a time without taking a breath, as long as the water stays cold. answered by yahoo
What you should do, is just be paitent and wait. eventualy, the thing your feeding your snapper will die,(if not already dead), or the snapper will eat it. while i writing this, I'm looking ant my snapper and a tadpole i just cought for him , and i am dying to see how he'll eat it or how he'll kill it. All he's doing is sitting on top of it. BORING!!!!!
I'm no scientist but I've always thought that most reptiles are "exothermic" as they're cold blooded.
true
Yes
1-2 days
If cold they hibernate. if hot they go in the water
cold couse my sisters turtle has had a reaction to hot water
if your box turtle is aquatic, it may be because the water is too cold or its uncomfortable in its habitat.
because a swan is made from bones where as a snapping turtle is a fictonal animal created by my grandad. It was a cold december night when i first heard the tale of the snapping turtle or "bumaqwoq", i was on his lap (naked) and he told me that they had big teeth and radar as they need to get there pray. Here is a drawing i did of the fantastic bumaqwoq, i hope it can help with your dream of finding out how a swan can break your leg/arm/ankel/head/eye/bum then hold your face down while wispering "i had sex with a fish while your turtle watched.....he loved every second". Any as i was saying i was realiesed from jail and i never sore those boxers again.
Depending on it's size, the first thing you may want to try is an eye dropper with just water, maybe a little bit of sugar disolved in it. This will help keep the baby hydrated until you can find someone who either has the facilities to rehab it, or can tell you what might be the best thing to try. Not knowing how old the baby is and how long it has been out of water, without food, etc, puts you at a disadvantage. I hate to suggest it but you have to think of what something it's "size" could snag and bite, eat. Small bugs, worms, in a pond, frogs, small fish, then crush them up and mix with water (water is key) and suck up into the dropper and down the throat, gently. Remember, you need to find, keep looking, research for someone who can handle it and has some knowledge. Maybe, call some vets, ask them if they know anyone interested in raising one? Also remember he is a cold blooded creature, he might not be real active now, depending on your weather. See the question listed below. Also make sure you call a vet, try it! A turtle can last a few days without food. My snapping turtle took one and a half weeks before it started eating. The turtle just has to be hungry enough and get used to hand feeding. If you caught the snapping turtle during winter or just before winter, it won't eat until spring again because it goes into a semi hibernation. Most pond turtles don't eat until the water in the pond heats up.
Cold.
