"Squiggly Traces" are actually know as Serpentine Traces. These wires are often used to make traces the same length. In high speed signaling, especially when using differential signaling ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differential_signaling ). Differential signaling requires the signals arrive at the same time. Take a look at this Sparkfun Forum talking about what they are with a example picture: http://forum.sparkfun.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=29396
A circuit board connector is used to mechanically support and connect electronically the various components of a circuit board. It does this using conductive pathways and signal traces.
Printed Circuit Board, the circuits/wiring are printed in copper traces on an insulating board.
The symbol for a wire is simply a line between circuit elements. The symbol for a resistor is a squiggly line. The related link goes directly to a picture of the symbol.
A printed circuit board (PCB) is a flat board made of non-conductive material that holds electronic components and provides electrical connections between them. It serves as a base for assembling and mounting electronic circuits. The board features a network of copper traces or conductive pathways, called traces, that allow the flow of electrical signals and power between components on the board. PCBs are widely used in various electronic devices, ranging from smartphones and computers to industrial equipment and automobiles. metalbee.lv/en/faq/
It is a process used in the making of printed circuit boards. A protective material is used to cover the traces that you want left on the PC board. The board is then submerged into an liquid that will etch the unprotected copper off of the board. This removed material then becomes the space between the protected material that you want to use for current caring traces to different components on the board.
copper circuit paths called traces. it carries signals and voltage across the motherboard.
The traces are the lines interconnecting all the components on this circuit board.
A squiggly mark is often referred to as a tilde '~'. It is commonly used in writing and mathematics to indicate approximation, negation, or as a diacritic mark in some languages.

Draw a squiggly line under the 0.
A box shape with squiggly lines is a freeform shape.
jelly beans, squiggly gummy worms, what ever is squiggly

It means congruent. It is NOT 'approximately equal', which would be an equal sigh where BOTH lines are squiggly.
If you were to look at the damaged circuit inside the component under a microscope you'd see that one or more "traces" on the circuit are literally burned through.
