50 VA means about 50 watts. Transformers usually use VA instead of watts because a transformer has very little wasted power, and watts measure power. A 50 va transformer that is 120v. on the primary side will use about .41 amps at 120 volts. On the secondary side, (if it's 24 volts) it will support about 2.08 amps.
Watts are used to measure power, whereas volts are used to measure potential difference. These are two different quantities, and you cannot convert one into another any more than you can convert kilometres to kilograms.
Amps and Watts measure different things. An Amp is a measure of electrical current and a Watt is a measure of Power. Which ever device draws the higher amperage will be the one that uses more electricity! Hence the 240 watt heater draw less amps even though it uses more watts: Volts Watts/Electical Current Amps/Power example heater 240 volt draws 2000/1000 watts - but uses 8.3/4.2 amps example heater 120 volt draws 1500/750 watts - but uses 12.5/6.3 amps
Watt?
ohm is used to measure resistance of electric current. Ampere is used to measure electric current. volt is used to measure voltage.
American use both watts and volts to measure units of electricity.

The engine dipstick is the only tool you can use to measure how much oil is in the engine.
Barometer is the tool to measure air pressure
Use a tape measure and measure in metres. For greater precision, measure in centimetres.
The best tool to use to measure distance underwater is
A ruler or tape measure.
You would use a thermometer to measure air temperature.
