As ohm's low says Voltage is directly proportional to Current. i.e V=IR where R is constant and it is resistance so we can say that when one ampire current flows through a path and produces 1 Volt voltage drop then the resistance is 1 ohm. Regards Kuldeep pradhan

How many ohm is a mega ohm?

1 megohm is 0.1 gigaohm. 1 gigaohm is 1000 megaohm. 1 megohm = 1,000,000 ohms = 106 ohms. 1 gigaohm = 1,000,000,000 ohms =109 ohms.

Will wiring a 16 ohm woofer with a 16 ohm tweeter in parallel result in a total ohm load of 8 ohms?

If you mean as pairs, yes. put an 8 Ohm and a 16 Ohm speaker in parallel for each channel. The 16 Ohm speakers will take 1/3 the power and the 8 Ohm speakers will take 2/3 the power. The resulting impedance will be 5.33 Ohms.

What is the resistance of a parallel circuit with resistances of 2 ohm's 4 ohm's 6 ohm's and 10 ohm's?

R = 1/[1/2 + 1/4 + 1/6 + 1/10] Add up the reciprocals of the resistances, and take the reciprocal of the answer.

What is the breakdown of the ohm units?

The ohm unit measures electrical resistance. It is represented by the symbol . The breakdown of the ohm unit is as follows: 1 ohm is equal to 1 volt per ampere. This means that if a voltage of 1 volt is applied across a circuit and it produces a current of 1 ampere, then the resistance of the circuit is 1 ohm.
