∙ 12y agoIt really depends on whether it is negative or positive but the simple answer is STATIC
This is bound to raise some controversy, but I think 'dirty electricity' is, to use a technical term, bogus - or at the very least, that what has been termed 'dirty electricity' can harm you. Electricity is not "dirty", and saying it is or can be is a convenient way to say that there is something "wrong" with it. It is being said that the human central nervous system may meet with electrical waveforms that have similarities to its own that it can cause interference, that is, pain, irritation or worse. Any system that allows AC (Alternating Current) or Magnetic Fields has "dirty" or "noisy" characteristics, even if it is an absolutely smooth waveform. Electrical "Dirt" is just "Noise", and is just a feature of the electrical system that has been in existence since its inception. Buying some gimmicky "filters" will not "harmonize" your living space with or from it. Please see the two links below.
By asking this question you probably aren't quite ready to take on this particular task. If you do get an answer here, you might attempt to do something you shouldn't be doing and that may cost someone a shock, a home fire, or even their life. Really, don't do this one yourself. Electricity is far too dangerous to handle if you have not been trained how to do this work. If you put just one wire in the wrong place you risk being killed by electrocution or you could even start a house fire. Find and read some books about electrical wiring and appliances and how to install them safely, and find out about your local Wiring Codes and Regulations. As always, if you are in doubt about what to do, the best advice anyone should give you is to call a licensed electrician to advise what work is needed and if you would be allowed to do it yourself. Before you do any work yourselfon electrical circuits, equipment or appliances, always use a test meter to ensure the circuit is, in fact, de-energized.IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY SURE YOU CAN DO THIS JOBSAFELY AND COMPETENTLYREFER THIS WORK TO QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS.
It could be off on a low pressure switch. You need to check if you have 24 volts to the outdoor unit at the contactor coil. If the contactor is not working the outdoor unit will get no high voltage to the compressor or fan. It could also be that the capacitor for the fan and compressor is blown.
You run a greater potential for being shocked if you connect the black and white wrong.
"Air Conditioning uses the most electricity, followed by the refrigerator" completely wrong. Your hot water heater does
Mine is out of Freon.
it is not always wrong it could be somtimes you know and what is your name
There could be many things wrong when the air conditioning light is flashing. It could mean the AC is going out,the fuse is blown, the fan is broken, etc. Use an OBD scanner to get the code.Ê
the coil is bad
Well, I don't think there's anything wrong with me, but there might be something wrong with you.
No but there are always some wrong answers waiting for us to remove them. If you want to increase percentage of good answers you could be helping us.
Riddle: What answer is always wrong? Answer: Wrong!!
-- I could say that it's equal to 90 degrees. I would always be wrong. -- I could say that it's equal to zero. I would usually be wrong, but not always. -- I could say that it's equal to the angle of incidence. At last, I would always be correct.
There could be a number of problems. Dirty ducts or heat exchanger. Wrong speed on the fan, or turning the wrong way. Plugged filters or vents.
Electricity in electric circuits produce heat and when a circuit goes wrong the heat can escalate to the point where it causes combustion in the materials adjacent to it. This causes fires.
what's it doing?
