The only way to do that is with a transformer. They make inline Transformers that convert 230 to 115 and they simply plug in inline.

The device used to change AC voltages is a transformer. To change from 115 to 230 volts, a step up transformer is used. To change from 230 to 115 volts, a step down transformer is used.

That is called an inverter.

How do you convert 110 volt outlet to 115 or is there an adapter?

There is no need to convert a 110-volt outlet to 115 volts as they are essentially the same. The slight variation is within the normal tolerance range for electrical systems. If you need to use a device that requires 115 volts, you can safely plug it into a 110-volt outlet without the need for an adapter.

How Convert 200 volt to 230 volt?

If a precision voltage is needed from 200 to 230 an auto transformer could be used. If the load is a 230 volt motor to be operated on 200 then add 15% to the nameplate full load amperage for the calculation for overload protection.

You have 240v and you need to convert to 230v for an air compressor?

Yes, you can use a 230 volt device on a 240 volt supply.

What is the greatest common factor of 115 230 and 345?

The greatest common factor for {115, 230, 345} is 115. Note that 115 x 2 = 230, and 115 x 3 = 345.

What is 50 percent of 230?

Can a 230 volt single phase watt hour meter be used to monitor 115 volt single phase?

Yes it would work pretty well but it might not meet its accuracy specification.

Is a 230 volt motor cheaper to run than a 115 volt?

Yes, a 230 volt motor is generally more efficient and cheaper to run compared to a 115 volt motor. Higher voltage motors are more energy efficient because they draw less current, resulting in lower energy costs over time.

How do you convert a 230 volt motor to 115 volt?

The wiring instructions for wiring a dual voltage motor are on the underside of the lid of the motors junction box. If it is not there look on the Internet for winding dual voltage motor connections.
