Your blower motor working even after the car is off is a good sign. This means that the car's system is preventing your car from overheating.

That's called dieseling, and the main thing that causes it is improper ignition timing.
Remove the fuel pump relay or the fuel pump fuse.

When the faulty ignition switch becomes worn over time, the vehicle will begin to intermittently and suddenly shut off while driving or while standing and idling. The recall notice says that the car will be able to restart but will continue to intermittently shut off without warning.
what kind of car? IF its fuel injected the key turns off the computer, the fuel pump, and the ignition coil
You need to replace the ignition switch. Too much play in it.
