I don't know what Ford calls it. Click the link.
The traction control and the ABS both use the wheel speed sensors in the wheel bearings
Traction control applies the ABS to the individual wheel when it spins too fast, slowing it down to the speed of the other wheels so that it can gain traction.
One of the speed sensors runs the speedometer/odometer and transmission shift patterns, other speed sensors run the abs and or traction control.
When the traction light is on you have the traction control turned on in your vehicle and traction control is activated. Traction control is applying brakes to a wheel that losing traction.
Turning off traction control turns off the traction control. This is useful if you don't want the traction control.
It is a sensor that monitors wheel speed and sends that info to the abs module and/or the traction control module.
Idk
Usually the ABS and traction control off lights will come on
on. if you cut traction control off the vehicle runs fine
There isn't a single traction control sensor. The system uses the wheel speed sensors, at each wheel bearing, along with numerous other inputs.
i have a 2002 grand marquis and when i driving on the highway at speed of 60 to 70 the light of traction control star to flash way is the problem
