With the 1999 Ford Ranger 3.0 liter flex fuel V6 engine you can use " regular " unleaded gasoline 87 octane or ( E 85 ethanol fuel ) or any combination of the two fuels
If you mean E85 then NO , but it can be converted to run on propane
lights on a f250 a wreanch what does it mean
The wrench warming light on the dash of the Ford F250 means that there is a mechanical failure on your vehicle.
Flex fuel is a blend of gasoline and either ethanol or methanol. This combination of fuel is stored in one tank, just as traditional gas. An example of this fuel is E85, which is 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline.
It means that the car can run on pure gasoline, E85 or any combination of the two.
Flex fuel does not mean you can use diesel. It means the engine can run on pure gasoline or on E85 gasoline. If you put diesel in this vehicle it simply will not run. Diesel can only be used in a diesel engine.
The PCM has detected a fault and set a trouble code.
That light is a warning that the fuel/water seperator has collected at least 100cc of water. You should drain the water from the seperator as soon as possible. If it continues usually means you have bad fuel.
i am assuming you mean the switch for changing from one tank to the second tank if this is correct, either the switch on dash is faulty or the actual changeover valve on chassis rail is faulty
Normally that would be the low fuel warning light
It means you need to check the engine over, something is wrong.
