Note that the headrest need not be replaced in the event of deployment - merely reset.

Remove headrest from seat and observe status of trigger lock. The trigger lock can be seen
within the deployed headrest.
If the trigger lock is unlocked, proceed directly to Step 3.
If the trigger lock is locked, proceed to Step 2.

Apply 12 Volts DC to the pin at A, while grounding the sliding shaft. At the same time push the
trigger lock by hand into the unlocked position. Disconnect power. The trigger lock will remain in
the unlocked position.

Turn over headrest and lay down on a
clean, flat surface

Push the crash handle into the cover
using fingers
5.
Push cover
6.
Push cover until there is no gap.
If it has the active restraint headrests that pop forward in a crash, the dealers scan tool is required.

It appears that if you disconnect the battery for 5 seconds you get your reset.
