The Polaris Liberty 550 twin makes the cut into 2010 not because it's the cleanest, but survives due to corporate fleet emissions. Polaris is not the only maker to offer a fleet of fan-cooled sleds for 2010. The Rotax fan-cooled engine powers a similar fleet of low-buck Ski-Doo models as well. We were quite surprised to see such an influx of these sleds for the current model year.
In the Polaris IQ Shift naming, IQ stands for "Independent Rear Suspension and Chassis." It refers to the innovative rear suspension design that helps improve handling and performance on the snowmobile.
Well the 600 IQ shift could probally go at least 100 mph
No
Check the shift linkage to see if it is loose , and has gotten out of adjustment . Unhook both the high /reverse linkage and the low linkage . See if you can shift it out of gear with a pair of pliers . Then see if you can get it in high and reverse . If you can then adjust the linkage .
Yes it does
all you have to do is hold the reverse override and you will have 4x4
no but the 05 up do
There are several places one can purchase a Polaris IQ. Online retailers include Overstock and The Sportsman Guide. Retailers that offer both online and in store purchase options include Sears and Walmart.
shift to nutral, then move lever to reverse
probably like 10 cuz it sucks. get a yamaha! polaris is just cheep junk
bypass the reverse override on a 2005 polaris 700cc efi atv
okay this depends on what type of machine your polaris is. if its an ATV, there will be a big shift knob on the left side of the gas tank, and that should be pretty easy to figure out how to use. this is true for every polaris ATV except in the case of the 2000 polaris expedition 425, in wich it was a manual transmission, and you had to manually shift using your feet. in the case of snowmobiles, you do not have to shift them. they use a belt drive system that does everything for you
