∙ 14y agoFirst, your pharmacy tech course are not perequistes to study pharmacy. However, pharmacy tech knowledge will prepare you to getting the required pre-pharmacy courses before going to study pharmacy in any approved school.

The University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy is the only pharmacy school in the state. You can complete pre-pharmacy coursework at UNM or another university before applying to pharmacy school. Currently, 3 years of prerequisite courses are required before applying. After acceptance, it is a 4 year program culminating in a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD). You cannot transfer a prescrition for a controlled substance in Illinois or any other state with out going to the pharmacy and picking up the hard copy to bring to another pharmacy and as far as refills go there isn't any when it comes to narcotics
To transfer from one university to another, there is a usual minimum number of credits you would need to transfer. They don't necessarily need to be art classes to do so even if your major is art.
You can, however the institution you transfer to will have transfer credit limits. In addition, when ever a student transfers, there is always the risk that some courses already completed will not be transferred.

Credits will usually transfer from one accredited university to another. If a course is ranked differently, the credits may be worth more or less to another university but they are generally fairly standard. There may be a limit to the number of credits you can transfer
it depends on if you are going for the same degree then the doctoral credits might be transferable, you have to ask the other university of they are...
It would be better to attend the school that has your major.
