Why assessment tool is needed in teaching?

It is a vital tool that teachers use to determine if the information being presented is actually learned by the student before building on that information with more ideas and facts. It is also a way to determine if the method of teaching or the curriculum is effective in a statistical method so that chnages can be made if needed.

Assessment tools help in evaluation of skills or information learnt in the output level of performance such as the level of excellence , aptitude and other features of learning including disabilities in learning to determine the effectiveness of the educational plan, teaching methodology, right approach to the education plan or education therapy .
