Depends on the school district ... most have two weeks off for Christmas and New Years, so based upon that, school may restart on January 7th
It depends on what school you go to. If you go to a Christian school, It should be sometime around Easter Sunday, or that week. I am not quite sure about other religious schools.

Oceanway middle school
Middle school only spring. High school is spring and winter
Not really. Matters if they like the cold or not?
100% of middle schools will have middle schools as middle schools are middle schools.
Winter break can be capitalized, or lower case. If, on a calendar, you are writing winter break, then you would put "Winter Break". On anything else, it could be "winter break", "Winter break", or "Winter Break".
December 18 - January 4th
Virtually (if not literally) ALL of the schools, both public and private, were on winter break that week (Monday, December 27, 2010 through Friday, December 31, 2010). All of the public schools had winter break from December 24 through December 31. December 31 is a Friday, so the public schools did't have classes again until Monday, January 3. The private schools had different winter break schedules, but all of them were off all that week for sure.
I believe middle schools end June 26, and high schools end June 16.
The 2010 to 2011 winter break for New York City public schools is from December 24 through December 31. December 31, 2010, was, of course, a Friday, so classes do not resume until Monday, January 3, 2011.
There is no winter break in football.
