Well by "devil worshiper" I am going to assume you mean to imply those whom worship Satan Lucifer as a God?

But what you should know about Satanism is that its (true/spiritual satanism) is not about committing illegal acts in fact they are damned. Its about learning and free thinking. And being in control of your path.

And since you used the particular term "devil ..." I will also assume you mean the Psuedo satanists. That have in fact came to being from the Christian Religion / Jew Programs. Well I don't really care what they are for them because in reality there a mentally unstable individual who needs psychiatric help.

But if your intrested in the Benevolent forms of satanism theres really two choices.

Atheistic

Anton LaVey's The Black Bible is his book

Theistic

theres some debate here but i prefer the JoyOfSatan.com (true to satanism and not having a book) and if your not interested that's fine.

A devil-worshipper is a person who has renounced all faith in the established religions held to be 'good' and who worships evil in the form of Satan. According to Christian belief, Satan is Lucifer who was originally one of Gods principle archangels, but who challenged God's supreme authority and was thus cast out of Heaven. Devil-worship is complex to categorise as many practicing Satanists deny that they are evil or that they approve of, or mean, any harm to come to anybody- they see themselves as attaining 'good via darkness' rather than 'good via good', if that makes any sense. Other devil-worshippers really DO mean evil and harm, but these are usually deeply disturbed, deranged individuals, or else psychologically disturbed as a result of bad experiences in their lives. It is a field that has different layers, many of which are at odds with each other.

If you are asking 'who is a FAMOUS Devil-worshipper', there aren't many examples as few people who have achieved fame are serious about it. There are many heavy metal bands and singers who SAY that they are, but they aren't really, it's just a public image to try and shock people- Ozzy Osbourne calls himself the 'Prince of Darkness' but in fact is a perfectly decent guy, Alice Cooper cultivates an evil image but is in fact a devout Christian, and the English heavy rock band Saxon have made songs extolling Christianity. Famous individuals who extol evil are rare indeed- there was the Englishman Aleister Crowley, who styled himself 'The Beast' and had three sixes on his passport, but who was in reality a pathetic, mentally unstable self-publicist who in reality didn't know WHAT he was and who died in 1947. There is Anton La Vey, who leads the Church of Satan, and there is the mass murderer Charles Manson, who is incurably criminally insane and will spend the rest of his life in a secure prison hospital. But I would end on two notes- never confuse devil-worship with Paganism, which is a good religion and to which Satanism is as abhorrent as it is to Christians. Also, do NOT get mixed up with Devil-worship or anything to do with it- it's dangerous and seriously bad stuff, and even the practice of satanistic ritual in jest or the drawing of satanic symbols 'for a joke' can have bad consequences. Steer clear of it- stick with the light.
