The costumed mascot's name is Scratch but the University also has a live bobcat named Blue who resides at the Salato Wildlife Education Center. Blue does not attend games since he, like all bobcats, is very shy by nature and would not do well with the large crowds and noise of collegiate sporting events.
The mascot is named Don Francisco and he is dressed like the fictional character Zorro.
I'm guessing the asker is from the US.Oxford University doesn't really have a mascot, because it's not like "Universities" in the United States, which were mostly started as one single organization from the outset. There may be multiple colleges within the University, but it's a very top-down arrangement.Oxford, in contrast, started as a number of independent colleges within the town of Oxford, which only later merged to form the University. As such, there's no single unified mascot of "Oxford", though each college (or even each team) may have its own mascot.
big red. hes a hilltopper. he basically looks like a big red blob

Short for Pennsylvania State University, Penn State's shortened nickname is recognizable enough that it is featured on the school's professional logo designs. The logo, which is colored in the university's distinctive blue, features a 'Nittany Lion', which is a type of mountain lion that was once found commonly in the area as well as the school mascot. The graphic is shaped like a shield and features the year that the school was founded, 1855, both of which lend an air of establishment and tradition. The original Penn State University seal with the founding date of 1855 on it is very similar to the Pennsylvania State flag.
Stanford's "mascot" is the color Cardinal. The Leland Stanford Junior University Marching Band's (LSJUMB) mascot is the tree. Each individual selected by the band to be tree builds their own costume using their own interpretation of what the tree should look like-- it has been a pine, but also a palm.
We don't have anything like a mascot for the country.
