I had this very thing with my 2 pregnancies. Your cervix can be *very* sensitive when you are pregnant, and if your husband run into it full force during sex (and that's pretty likely, now, isn't it?) you may not notice it while it's happening, but it can irritate it for a good long while (read: OUCH!). For several days afterwards, I would always have spotting, first red, then turning brown, and cramping, not horrible, but definitely worrisome. This happened quite a bit, but everything always checked out fine when I went to the doctor. No danger to the baby, just annoying as all get out to the mother.
it means you need to go to the doctor.
Your period..............maybe or skid marks
That sounds like a typical period when on the pill.
If it is a boy, yes. If it is a boy, yes.
There are several causes for dark brown spotting at 8 months in a pregnancy. These include preterm labor and having sex.
I STARTED HAVE BROWN SPOTTING AT 12 WEEKS WITH NO CRAMPS I WENT IN FOR AN ULTRA SOUND AND FOUND OUT THE BABY DIED A 7 WEEKS 6 DAYS . THEN 4 MONTHS LATER HAD A CHEMICAL PREGNANCY. NOW THREE MONTHS AFTER THAT I AM 4 WEEKS 4DAYS PREGNANT AND AM HAVING BROWN SPOTTING I WENT FOR A BLOOD TEST AND A NEXT ONE TWO DAYS LATER AND MY HCG LEVELS HAVE DROPPED MEANING I AM HAVING ANOTHER MISCARRIAGE. I WOULD CHECK WITH YOUR DR. CAUSE AFTER HEARING WHAT PEOPLE HAVE SAID ABOUT SPOTTING BROWN THEY HAVE GONE ON WITH A NORMAL PREGNANCY. I GUESS AM NOT ONE OF THE LUCKY
Get checked now - that was my first indication....no cramps or anything, just brown spotting. You DEFINITELY should go to the Emergency Department of some hospitallike NOW !
brown spotting is okay. That's old blood. As long as its not bright red. Sometimes i get pains down low if I move suddenly or sneeze. Not quite like cramps. You should ask your doctor if your not sure of anything that's what they're there for!
brown spotting is just what is sounds like. old blood is brown. spotting describes the result of drops of blood on a surface. thus, old blood drops=brown spotting.
If you notice brown, red, or pink spotting and/or abdominal or low back pain call your doctor immediately as this can be a first sign of miscarriage.
pregnant?
red or brown spotting is common, but some people dont have spotting at all (there the lucky folk).
