You can only score a 99% on the asvab.. To get a 124 would be impossible.
The ASVAB is a battery of tests given by the armed forces to assess several different skillsets. It can determine which military occupational specialties (MOS) a person is eligible for.
31 is the minimum for the General Technical (GT) score, out of a possible 130.
The points are not out yet for any MOS but you can check the scores by going to the related link below, you should see the link on the left side bar.
Yes and no. The ASVAB is a basic test used to qualify all men and women interested in enlisting, but within the test, a recruiter can identify potential MOS opportunities - but you need to remember that the Air Force, like every other service branch, will put you where they need you.

To switch Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in the National Guard, you need to consult with your unit's career counselor or retention NCO. They will guide you through the process, which typically includes reviewing your qualifications, submitting paperwork, and potentially attending additional training. Availability of MOS reclassification depends on the needs of the unit and the vacancies in the desired MOS.
It varies from day to day, typically your combat arms MOS's or high demand (technical) MOS's will offer the most incentive for enlistment. You will however need to score over a 50 on the ASVAB just to qualify for a bonus, keep in mind a bonus is an incentive for enlistment and not a tool to get you to sign. You should be more concerned about the job YOU are choosing to do for the next few years over a bonus that will only last for a few months.
yes. asvab can be taken thru any branch and is good for 2 years. your combined score will determine what mos's you qualify for. you can get the information about this by referring following links www.pcmech.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-80162.html www.military.com/Recruiting/Content/0,13898,rec_step04_questions_FAQ,,00.html navy-recuiter-gave-me-a-practice.ezwutest.us/
Wheel and Track mechanic. I trained as 63b but they needed 63c so the eraser came out.

It's one of the many functions which has been outsourced to private contractors. If you were deployed with that MOS, you'd be more likely to do gate guard duties than the actual functions of your MOS.
