75 percent of biology teacher's students are failing. She's also difficult to get along with. How can you do well in class when your teacher don't lecture and just give worksheets?
If 75% of the class is failing, there is something wrong. The
first thing you can do, either yourself or with a group of
students, is try to talk with her and explain how you and the other
students feel. If this doesn't work, then you approach the
department chairperson and explain the situation. If you are still
not satisfied, then you would have to bring your issue to the Vice
President for Academic Affairs. That is the procedure. I am a
professor myself, and if 75% of the class is failing, it should
send a message to the professor; The students are not getting it.
Evidently her method needs to be revised, or maybe she should look
for another type of work. There is no excuse for such a high
failure rate.
