Good morning /afternoon.... MR Gammage , teachers and my fellow students I stand here before you to discuss the reason why I want to be part of the leadership team and hopefully become school captain for the following year (2011).
I realise that it's a privilege to have the honour but I am confident that I will be a suitable contestant. I promise to work hard to be the effective leader that you would be proud of. I will try to uphold and obey the six rules and become the role model that you can all look up to. I will assist teachers and students in any way possible to the best of my abilities. I will always try to be respectful, responsible, honest, trustworthy and reliable. I will always try to treat everyone equally and aim to live in harmony with one another. I would always take my responsibilities very seriously and always with a smile.
The job of a captain is not just about a badge or having the power to present assemblies or a board that has your name written on it but an opportunity to display your pride in your school especially of your teachers and fellow students. This job demands time, effort, enthusiasm and most of all the ability to lead. I believe I possess all these qualities and if not I am more than willing to learn them in the process. I promise to dedicate myself to serving the school and especially you, my fellow students. So please vote for me and show your trust in me and I promise I won't let you down. Thank you for listening to my speech and remember its N for Nadia.

For a primary school captain speech, it's important to start with a strong introduction that grabs the audience's attention, such as a personal anecdote or a relevant quote. Next, outline your key qualities and experiences that make you a suitable candidate for the role, such as leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and a commitment to serving the school community. Finally, conclude your speech with a call to action, encouraging your peers to vote for you and highlighting your vision for the school if elected. Remember to speak confidently, maintain eye contact, and use engaging language to connect with your audience.
Alright, listen up, kiddo. To nail that school captain speech, start with a killer opening that grabs everyone's attention. Then, talk about why you're the best choice - highlight your strengths without sounding like a bragger. Wrap it up with a strong closing that leaves a lasting impression. And remember, be confident - you got this!

-Open with a bit of joke or question to capture attention
-Always speak the truth and not fibs
-list as many necessary qualities as possible
-end with a motto, something to remember
-don't speak quickly, speak clearly and fluently
-do not include words that you cannot read
-don't abbreviate and speak seriously

To write a year 5 school captain speech, start by introducing yourself and explaining why you want to be a school captain. Highlight your leadership qualities, such as responsibility, communication skills, and willingness to help others. Mention specific ideas or initiatives you would like to implement if elected, and end with a strong call to action for your classmates to vote for you. Be confident, genuine, and make sure to connect with your audience.
Well i will give you a plan on a speech. 1.You need to talk about your qualities 2. You need to talk about your skills 3. You need to explain that you are responsible enough 4. You need to talk about some of you ideas to improve the school 5. You need to be confident and not fiddle with you hands 6. You need to speak loud and clear I hope these help you with your speech. I got my speech on Monday coming, today it is 20/2/10

Well , this is not a joke but rhyme. With confidence I know I can do this task, A vote from you is all I ask.
well it would depend on what your school name is for e.g you could have (insert school name here) NEEDS U 2 VOTE FOR(insert your name here) IT WOULD HELP US HELP YOU!
You need to think these things up yourself if you are going to be a writer someday, but if you want to start a speech, it could start in any way. You description was a little vague, so all we know is that its a vice captain, but what is the vice captain for exactly? And what is his/her's personality? However, you could start it off as: "Hi, everyone. As your vice captain for (whatever it is for) I would like to say that..." And then go off in their speech, or you could start it off with: "Hello everyone, I would like to point out that..." Or even "Hey, everyone! I would just like to remind you that..." - Well you get the idea. If you have an account on this site and you would like more help, you could always message me, or maybe somebody else on this site who deals with this sort of stuff.
You need to start the speech out by stating your name. You also need to talk about how you are going to help the school throughout the year.
its very hot they help us understand
If I were a school captain, I would strive to be a role model for my peers by demonstrating strong leadership skills and fostering a sense of community within the school. I would work closely with teachers and students to advocate for positive change and create a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and included. By leading by example and encouraging others to reach their full potential, I would aim to inspire a culture of excellence and unity in our school community.
