This is ALWAYS a loaded question on application forms ! The manager or recruitment officer wants to know your reasons for applying for the job. NEVER put "...because I need the money..." That is NOT a valid reason (and would certainly get your application refused ! You need to 'sell yourself' - put forward positive things about you.. "...because the tasks I performed in my last job will transfer to this post, reducing the need for further training..." If the job is some distance from where you live "...because I'm looking for a change of scenery, and your post will give me the incentive to re-locate..."
