I received a Master of Humanities from Tiffin. It's an online program and it was a great experience! The courses were demanding and thought-provoking. The professors are (for the most part) approachable, and just plain nice.

Mt. Lyon Institute?

The Mt. Lyon Institute is an online branch of Tiffin University. It is a very specialized program only offering two degrees. The first degree is a bachelors degree offered in Business Administration. The second is a continuance of that, being a masters degree MBA in Elder Care Management. The purpose of gaining a masters degree in Elder Care Management through Mt. Lyon Institute is to gain an upper hand in advancement through some sort of assisted living, retirement, or healthcare community that specializes in treatment or care of the elderly. Mt. Lyon Institute as part of Tiffin University claims to offer an affordable educational experience provided by accomplished faculty of hands on practitioners. This will likely be the case as the professors of the courses offered will be the faculty of Tiffin University. The purpose of the program is to provide graduates the ability to be able to evaluate elder care programs and to then be able to implement those programs in an elder care setting while relating to the societal, cultural, and environmental issues associated with dealing with the elderly on a day to day basis. This program is offered as part of the curriculum of Tiffin University which is based out of Tiffin, Ohio. Tiffin University is an accredited university and the programs offered through Mt. Lyon Institute are accredited and are part of Tiffin University as a whole. Tiffin University enrolls approximately 2,700 students in both its on campus and online programs. As part of Tiffin University, students are eligible to participate in US Title IV financial assistance programs, and students are eligible to apply for Stafford and Perkins loans, Pell Grants, and federal work-study. These programs tend to enable the affordability of college programs. The bachelors and graduate programs offered by Tiffin University are similar to the pricing of the majority of programs offered in Ohio. If you complete either the Bachelor of Business Administration or an MBA in Elder Care Management through the Mt. Lyon Institute, you will be receiving a degree from Tiffin University via the Mt. Lyon Institute.
