Is Crown University in Bradenton Florida a legitimate university?

No, they are not accredited with a known US accrediting agency. THEY ARE FAKE! Here's my correspondence with the Oregon Student Assistance Commission:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am trying to find out if this organization is legitimate. An associate received a degree from them and is certain they are. I am skeptical, to say the least. Here's the information I have obtained.

Crown University: Bradenton, FL (no campus), Port Din. Gwynedd, UK

2 websites, owned by 2 different individuals. Same license # of 35389. I have yet to find out what kind of license it is. The State of Florida has no hits on the sites I checked.

That's it, in short.

THE RESPONSE:

We have asked State of Florida to respond.

It is not accredited by a genuine U.S. accreditor. Looks fake to me.

Well, honey, Crown University in Bradenton, Florida is not accredited by any recognized accreditation body, so technically it's not considered a legitimate university in the traditional sense. It might offer some courses or programs, but without accreditation, your diploma might as well be a fancy piece of paper. Just do your homework before shelling out any cash for that degree, darling.

Crown University Bradenton is not fake because it is not accredited by the United States of America but by the State of Florida. Crown University Bradenton is not forced to register in non governmental bodies but have the freedom to choose where they want to register with. It is wrong for anyone to use the system of Another Country or the comments of an angry and disgruntled person who chose to run down what was not in his favor to call it fake. Crown University is the largest University by outreach in many countries than any other University. How can a University that is Christian be fake? Why should anyone believe what only one angry person comments about a University to harm other students with certificates, diplomas and degrees from Crown University. Freedom of speech does not mean slander or libel. The University is real for many who have attended it.
