Of course! You can even get into college with a few C's :) Grades are an important part of the college admissions process, no doubt, but colleges are looking at your OVERALL performance in high school. A few "not-so-perfect" grades here and there are not going to keep you out of college.
(I got some B's in high school and I ended up at Brown University. So the proof is in the pudding.)
The important things to know about how your high school grades impact your college admissions are:
1. Colleges care a lot about IMPROVEMENT. So if you start high school and your grades aren't amazing, that is OK. So long as you work hard and show improvement over time, that's what matters.
2. Colleges want students who CHALLENGE themselves. And that means they'd rather see a student who took harder courses and got B's than a student who takes a bunch of super EASY classes and gets all A's. So if you take some AP classes and get some B's...that's just fine! (And if you get some B's in some non-AP or honors courses, that's fine, too!)
3. Colleges know that grades vary widely from school to school, country to country. So while they DO take your GPA into consideration, they know that GPA is not the strongest indicator of a student's abilities. And that is why they also look to things like SAT/ACT test scores, letters of recommendation, activities, honors, etc. So, yes, focus on those grades and keep 'em up as high as you can! But make sure you're not focusing ONLY on your grades. There are other things in your profile that are going to play a big role in college admissions and you don't want to ignore those just to get some A's!
If you have a 3.3 GPA in high school, you will need to continue you good study habits in college. Your GPA does not carry over from high school to college.
