Cows have 4 teats that function, one for each quarter. However, some cows can have 6 or even 8 but the extras are not functional. Often these non-functional teats are removed when the calf is very young. Removing extra teats occurs primarily in dairy operations, not in beef cow-calf operations, since dairy cows need to be attached to a machine to be milked, and it doesn't help if there's an extra non-functional teat since that could confuse whoever has to attach the milking machine to the cow.

Do bulls have nipples?

Yes they do. They are quite small and non-functional, just like the nipples found on a man in comparison with that of a woman. A bull's nipples are located in the same area as a cow's, only, like mentioned before, much smaller and less defined than what is present on a cow.
