In general, all schools are now pushing their teachers to pursue a Masters degree. The time-line for completion of the degree is usually mandated by the board of education agency that has jurisdiction over the area the individual teaches in. Still, if you are a teacher, I would not wait until you have to do it, but would start as soon as possible. At the same time, you will be making yourself more marketable.

You can get any job with any corporation as long as you have a masters degree. Corporations will normally take anyone with a masters, even WITHOUT experience. Some corporations require that you have a bachelor's degree, but with a little experience. Degrees are knowledge, and knowledge is MONEY! They win, you win.
