Yes they do, deer are very talented swimmers
It really depends on what kind of a swimmer you are. If you can swim really well, you can probably swim really far. If you can't swim at all, you won't swim very far. I hope this answers your question.
most of the time flooding is what strands deer on islands. but they can swim but dont really like to.
As far as a blue whale can swim in a year
they swim as long as they can
Yes they do. I have witnessed deer swimming from the mainland of Nova Scotia to one of the islands off the coast. By boat the ride is about 5 minutes. They swim well and quickly.
They can run at 45 mph, they can jump 35 feet far, and 12 feet high, can swim a 13 mph, and can climb almost vertically.
why do ducks swim together in lines
a pigeon cannot swim very far it can swim approximately 20m for approximately 30 seconds (I think) :)
No deer can not swim. Some people claim to see deer swimming but they are either standing on a rock out in the water or on an under water bridge that only deer know of. They can smell it underwater and like to walk on the bridge out to the middle of the pond or lake. They usually hide under water but are sometimes caught taking a breathe of air. There are websites that give false information saying "Although deer prefer to be on land, they can swim up 13 mph." That information is wrong. DEER CAN NOT SWIM.
they swim deeply and far away.
not far from its normal habitat
