'Earth' is 'la Terre' (the planet).
Earth as in soil = אדמה (adamah) (Planet) Earth = כדור הארץ (kadur ha'aretz)
A planet - is defined as an object that has its own gravity, and is in orbit around a sun.
When people say Earth they are referring to the planet on which we all live.

"Études globales" is the literal translation, but I think "Études mondiales" would probably be better, if you mean studying the world as a place, and not the earth as a planet.
None. Old textbooks would say that it is Pluto, but Pluto is no longer considered a planet.
