The usual practice is that .5 or higher (.6, .7 etc.) is rounded up to the next highest integer, so that for example 8.5 can be rounded up to 9. You can do the same thing at any position in the number, for example, you can round up the number 432,669.00735 to 432,669.0074 if you so desire.
