It's a front wheel drive vehicle made in Spring Hill TN. by Saturn, a division of General Motors. It was reported to have the highest U.S. content of all vehicles made that year and generally the Saturn's have been a reliable and economic alternative to imports. The "2" in SL2 implies that the engine has the more desirable "double overhead cam" engine, which was significantly more powerful than the single overhead cam version. If the above statement does not answer your question, perhaps you could be a bit more clear.
Yes. The '95 and '92 Saturns used the same single and twin cam engines.
Yes. But the crank in the 91-92 won't fit the 93+. And the 91 motors are basket cases, avoid them.
The air intake sensor is located in the air tube connecting to the air cleaner box. The tube runs driver's side to passenger's side at radiator location and is on the bottom side of the tube. Make a note.....the coolant temperature sensor and air intake sensor are the same.
The 92 did not have a roller cam in it.
I have a 92 SL2 (the DOHC dual cam). Standing at the front of the car with the hood up, facing towards the car, it will be on the front of the engine (closest to you), on the left, near the bottom. If you have A/C, then you will see that on the front left top very easily. The water pump is below that. Note the accessory drive belt runs the pump, so follow the belt.
No, it will not perform as it should. The 92 is OBD1 & the 2000 is OBD2. The ECU will not function correctly on this engine.
how do you bleed a cluch on a 92 Saturn sl
The 82-92 models have to be the 1991-1992 Firebird Formula, 305 TPI, F-engine code, 5 Speed-HO cam/230hp/dual cats!
Define ATS
It does not have one on that year.
