Typically, if you take coursework at an institution that does not have a regional accreditation (and Lincoln Tech does not), regionally accredited colleges and universities will not accept the credit. Still, there might be a possibility they may award some credit based on your nursing license (general education courses they will not). You should check with some schools of interest and inquire. I would strongly suggest (based on your willingness to continue your education), you do not take a hospital based diploma program. You will just run into the same problem if you wish to continue to a higher degree. Set your eyes on a college or university degree, not a diploma. This will also make you more marketable, where hospitals - as well as other health related facilities - prefer nurses with degrees.

No it is not a scam. The institution specializes in Motorcycle Mechanics Institute and Marine Mechanics Institute (MMI) and NASCAR Technical Institute (NTI). However, if you plan to continue your education through the regionally accredited colleges and universities, none of the credits you complete through this institution will be accepted. For the source and more detailed information concerning your request, click on the related links section (College Board) indicated directly below this answer section.

It is a direct link to Lincoln Technical Institute.Warning!Lincoln Technical Institute is not a regionally accredited college. Therefore, if you have future plans for a college degree, most if not all regionally accredited colleges and universities will not accept the schools credits in transfer. In addition, those organizations that call for a college degree for posted positions, may not recognize the program or diploma/degree you completed there. When choosing a college or university, you are much better off, finding a school with a regional accreditation. With a regional accreditation, you can be assured the course work and degree you complete, will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers. Lastly, they are very expensive. You can take the same programs starting at a community college without placing yourself under financial burden.
