Firstly, Expository method of teaching are more efficient and takes less time. The teacher or expect present information to their students in a purposeful way that cover Teaching learning Materials (TLM) within the shorter time. The teacher sometime uses an advance organizer which is a tool used to introduce lesson and illustrate the relationship between what the students are about to learn and the information they have already learned. This is very important in this era of Covid 19 and the double track system in our Senior High Schools where students do not spend much time in school. It can also be the best for larger classes.

Also, expository teaching method offer students the best opportunity to obtain an organized view of the discipline he is studying because the teacher can organize the subject area much more effectively for learning than the student. Remember when students are discovering information on their own, they can get distracted and confused by unnecessary information and have difficulty determine what importance.

Thirdly, expository method of teaching helps develop the listening skills among the students. Students requires the fundamental skill of focusing attention on the teacher to be able to hear and understand what the teacher is presenting. As the teacher is thought of as an expect in this form of teaching so there are less chances of students misinterpreting the information.

Expository method is more disciplined form of teaching and the idea behind expository method of teaching is lesser distraction as teachers takes up the charge in the class and guides the lesson. They tend to use language and examples that are relatable for students of that age group.

Finally on the advantages of expository method of teaching, the information presented to the student are well organized. Overview, introduction, examples, transition from one law to the other and summaries are presented at the right time to make the concert crystal clear. With this any learner with a good listening skill can grab more information in a lesser time
