An "educator" is a person who is trained in teaching others and the ancient Greeks invented schools. Plato and Socrates were two of the earliest teachers. Today's teachers spend years learning about how to teach people.

Aristotle was a student of Plato and went on to tutor Alexander the Great. Aristotle's teachings and writings covered a wide range of subjects including philosophy, science, and politics, and he is considered one of the most influential figures in Western thought.
