Over 3 billion people worldwide live in what is termed absolute poverty, meaning they have little or no money, food or shelter. On average, 25,000 children die DAILY from the affects of poverty. Of the estimated 2.2 billion children worldwide, 1 billion live in poverty.

Therefore it is safe to conclude that poverty is a HUGE problem!
