The word relatively mean "in relation to".

If you do relatively well, then you do a good job but not necessarily as well as you could do. In other words, satisfactory work but you could possibly do better.

It can also mean that someone does better than the others.

As in : You do relatively well compared to xxxx.

Or time wise: You do relatively well compared to previous results. you do better this semester than you did last semester.

It can also be interpreted as "someone does a good job but you could do it better".

many arguments starts off because people might misinterpret what you actually mean.
