Capitalism relies on the exploitation of the vast majority by a small number of capitalists. It also artificially restricts what is produced, as production only takes place when sufficient profit can be made.

Socialists believe that each person has a stake in the means of production, and that profits should be distributed equally to benefit all. They point out in capitalism, the private ownership only benefits the owners and investors, and the workers have no control over the production that comes from their services. Instead, the profits are funneled to a small group instead of the masses.

1. loss of religious freedom (only state-approved churches)

2. loss of personal spendable cash (average tax rate-around 60%)

3. loss of decent health care- see how long you have to wait for surgery in

Canada!

4. loss of free market competition- government owns it, so you pay what rates

they decide- no competition to keep prices lower.

5. loss of freedom of speech- ALL media outlets are controlled.

6. loss of gun ownership- not allowed to protect yourself (mostly from the

government itself!)

7. loss of choices- you live, eat, sleep, and work where you are told, and how you

are told, not as you please.
