Yes it is because it takes a long time to form (Redirected from Renewable resources)

A natural resource qualifies as a renewable resource if it is replenished by natural processes at a rate comparable or faster than its rate of consumption by humans. Solar radiation, tides, winds and hydroelectricity are perpetual resourcesthat are in no danger of long-term availability. Renewable resources may also mean commodities such as wood, paper, and leather, if harvesting is performed in a sustainable manner. Limestone is considered to be a nonrenewable resource because the amount of time taken to form the limestone used is much longer than the rate at which humans use it. This is essentially the same concept as with oil- that is, oil can in fact be replenished, but the amount of time it takes is unreasonable is comparison to usage.
I think it's not renewable because if we use all the limestone in the world we wont have any left to know how to make it on our own, but it may be renewable cause it is made from our planet Earth. +++ I'm not sure I can follow that first answer. It is not renewable. Although new limestone is being formed in various places around the world, the rate of deposition and lithification, let alone uplift, is far lower than that of our removal of existing rock.
Yes, gold is considered a non-renewable resource because it is a finite material that cannot be replaced once it is extracted from the Earth. The rate of gold mining far exceeds the rate at which new gold is formed, making it a non-renewable resource.
Silicon is considered non-renewable because it is extracted from silica, which is a non-renewable resource that must be mined from the earth. Once silicon is extracted and used in products like electronics or solar panels, it is not easily replenished on human timescales.
no it is not a renewable resource as it is not a resource!
Sulfur is considered a non-renewable resource since it is primarily extracted from natural deposits, such as volcanic regions and salt domes, and cannot be replenished on a short timescale. However, it is abundant in nature and can be recycled from certain industrial processes.
Limestone is a nonrenewable resource everyone so use your limestone wisely ! (:
renewable
yes it is, it can be crushed and reprocess into alternative building materials
