Mostly Alabama can have a rainforest because of its humid subtropical climate and its abundant rainfall. You won't find any tropical rainforests there because it's not hot enough but it is moist enough to support humid pine/cypress rainforests

Alabama cannot have a rainforest because rainforests are typically found in tropical regions near the equator with high levels of rainfall and constant warm temperatures. Alabama's climate and environmental conditions do not meet the requirements for a rainforest ecosystem to thrive.
