copper's melting point is 1,083°C and its boiling point is 2,595°C
just for fun
A coin is usually, made of copper or a copper alloy.
But the question was what temperature does it burn at - I'd like to know too - when copper is molten it's surface emits a blue flame, which is presumably burning copper, this happens as soon as it melts.
When red hot copper is dropped in water, the rapid cooling causes the copper to oxidize rapidly, resulting in a release of steam and a loud popping sound as the water is displaced by the expanding steam. Additionally, the surface of the copper may form a black layer of copper oxide due to the reaction with water and oxygen in the air.
A temperature of 3000 degrees Kelvin is quite hot. For reference, the surface of the sun is around 5800 Kelvin. At 3000 Kelvin, most materials would be glowing red-hot or even white-hot depending on their composition.
When copper is heated, it reacts with oxygen in the air to form copper oxide on its surface. This copper oxide layer is responsible for the color change from the characteristic reddish-brown of copper to darker colors like black or blue depending on the temperature and conditions of the heating process.
copper is a red solid. Chlorine is a greenish gas.
When copper reacts with oxygen, it forms copper oxide. This can occur in different ways depending on the conditions, such as forming black copper(II) oxide in air at high temperatures or red copper(I) oxide when copper is heated in a limited oxygen supply.

The color red is often associated with hot temperature because it is reminiscent of fire and heat. Red is also believed to stimulate energy and increase body temperature perception.
The temperature 800°C (which is the same as 1472°F) is much hotter than the temperature of molten lead or zinc, but not hot enough to melt copper, gold, or silver. The red part of a candle flame is about 800°C, while the blue part is hotter (1400°C).
Red hot iron can have a temperature around 1300°C (2372°F) while white hot iron can reach temperatures above 1500°C (2732°F).
Stars emit light because they are hot. When a hot object glows the color of light it emits depends on the temperature. The higher the temperature, the shorter the wavelength of light. The shortest wavelength of visible light is red Therefore the stars with the lowest temperature glow red.
sunburn
Easy, temperature. An example is lava. Lava is so hot, it is red. Snow, it is so cold because it is white.
temperature is cold red is hot
According to Wikipedia, a red giant has a surface temperature of 5000 K or less.
Hot is defined best by the temperature. If something is hot it will be usually red or smokey this usually helps to let someone know that things are hot.
Because of the fire
