the rainforest biome is very different. it rains all the time in the rainforest. it does not rain as much in the other biomes. also, the rainforest has a lot of different types of trees and plants that can survive all the water. for example, some leaves are slippery and feel almost rubbery. there is also many layers in the rainforest. the very top layer is the canopy. than there is an understory. the bottom layer is the forest floor. the rainforest also has a greater variety of organisms than any other biome.there are more than 1,400 species of birds in this biome. in the other biomes they don't have as much birds.
