You can't see helium at all unless you add something to it so you can see it. If you do that, then it's not in its pure form. I think it's impossible to tell what an invisible gas looks like in its pure form.

If you pass an electric current through helium then you will be able to see it. All noble gasses turn colored when electricity is passed through them.
