It affects the animals because the rainforest animals lose their homes and people need trees because trees give oxygen.

The animals decrease rapidly because there is no shelter, and some animals can only adapt to the rainforest, so there won't be another home for them. Cutting down trees affect people because oxygen is a big part of the atmosphere around us; we need to breathe good oxygen.

Trees produce oxygen for the earth and clean the earth's air. Plants take in CO2 and make O2.

Now, when you cut down trees you:

  • Decrease the amount of O2 in the world
  • Increase greenhouse gases CO2
  • Decrease places where the animals of the rainforest used to live
  • Increase animal and plant extinction (imagine if the cure for cancer is in one of those plants they just burned down so North Americans can have more coffee or beef?)

Cutting down rain forests has various negative effects, including loss of biodiversity, habitat destruction for many species, disruption of ecosystems, release of stored carbon into the atmosphere contributing to climate change, and impacting indigenous communities who rely on the forests for their livelihoods.

Trees absorb carbon dioxide, a powerful greenhouse gas, from the atmosphere. We have destroyed many great forests all over the world in the last 250 years, and at the same time we have been burning fossil fuels, adding more carbon dioxide to the air.

Because there are not enough trees to absorb this extra carbon dioxide it is overwhelming the natural carbon cycle, which cannot remove it from the atmosphere. The extra greenhouse gases capture more and more heat from the sun, causing global warming.

The trees (in our rainforests) cut down carbon dioxide and turn it into oxygen.

The carbon dioxide in our earth's atmoshere helps keep our earth from freezing. This could cause our climate to get warmer.

trees give off oxygen, which help animals live. If you cut down the trees, you cause global warming. The effects are; the sea-level rise, the spread of disease, reduced snowpak, more droughts, more floods, more wildfires, more heat waves, agricultural shifts.

It is a problem because all of the animals that are living in the rainforsts are losing their homes and bcoming extinct and all the trees are going to end up not being there so there will be no oxygen for us to breathe.

What are Three ways rain forests are used and two ways they are threatened?

Three ways rain forests are used are for logging, agriculture, and ecotourism. Two ways rain forests are threatened are deforestation for agriculture and logging, and climate change leading to habitat destruction.

What is happening to the rainforest?

Why are rain forests being cut downThe rain forests are being cut down for the use of toilet roll and pencils, dams, tourist, parks and the greediness of the companies such as Mcdonalds but all that is destroying our breathing sysytem and if we cut down all the trees we are gone for good.

Does cutting down forests limit the amount of carbon that is removed from the atmosphere?

Yes, cutting down forests limits the amount of carbon that is removed from the atmosphere. Trees absorb carbon dioxide during photosynthesis and store it in their biomass. When forests are cut down, this stored carbon is released back into the atmosphere, contributing to an increase in greenhouse gases.

How many forest are in the world?

It is estimated that there are around 3 trillion trees in the world, making up the various forests across different regions. There is no precise count of the number of forests, as they can vary in size and definition.

Why should you save our forests?

Forests are crucial for maintaining biodiversity, combating climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide, and providing essential ecosystem services such as clean air, water, and soil conservation. They also support indigenous communities, offer recreational opportunities, and contribute to the livelihoods of many people around the world. Protecting and preserving forests is essential for the health of our planet and future generations.
