Because it is more or less always the same. So we are just used to it. But if there is a rapid change we notice it, thankfully our body gets used to the new one quiet fast.

our bodies have adapted to it, and the changes in pressure are gradual. Air pressure differences are typically small in daily life, so we don't feel them. Only extreme changes in air pressure, like when flying in an airplane or Scuba diving, are noticeable to us.

Is argon shiny or dull?

Argon is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas at room temperature and pressure. It is not inherently shiny or dull because it is a gas, but when condensed into a liquid or solid form, it would not exhibit a shiny appearance.

Why isn't the Earth's entire mantle liquid?

The Earth's mantle is not entirely liquid because the temperature and pressure conditions vary throughout the mantle. While the high temperatures in the lower mantle can cause some rock to partially melt and flow, the majority of the mantle remains solid due to the higher pressure that prevents complete melting.

Does gneiss have cleavage?

Gneiss does not have cleavage like other types of rocks such as schist or mica. Instead, gneiss has a foliated texture with distinct bands or layers of minerals that have been subjected to extreme heat and pressure during its formation.

How does a barometer measure humidity?

A barometer measures atmospheric pressure, not humidity. However, changes in humidity can indirectly affect atmospheric pressure, as moist air is generally less dense than dry air, causing fluctuations in pressure that can be observed on a barometer.

Why dont diamonds revert to graphite at earth's surface where pressure is no longer high?

The transformation of diamonds into graphite occurs under high pressure and temperature conditions, typically found deep within the Earth's mantle. Once diamonds have formed and reached the Earth's surface through volcanic eruptions or other processes, the reduced pressure and cooler temperatures prevent them from reverting back to graphite. The thermodynamic stability of diamonds at the Earth's surface also helps to maintain their structure.
