Only countries near the equator with no high elevations would be included, such as most island nations, the nations of the Arabian Peninsula, equatorial Africa...

Countries that can get snow on occasion that may be surprising include Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Australia, Tanzania, Mexico, Morocco, Iran (a whole lot of it in the mountains), and Jordan....and many others, really.

Yes, there are countries near the equator that do not experience snow due to their warmer climates. Some examples include countries in the Caribbean, Central America, Africa, and parts of Asia.
