No.

None of the fossil fuels are.

There's actually no such thing as "renewable" energy by basic physics, but those forms so-called are effectively inexhaustible in human terms, and that would be the better adjective.

Wood and other plants approach it, if farmed and cropped properly, and some work has been carried out on crop-woods to feed gasifiers to fuel internal-combustion engine driven alternators. The main by-product is charcoal, plus some wood-tar, both of potential value.

When you see the R- word bandied about so glibly you realise just how ignorant so many people really are of basic science, despite using all sort of modern inventions powered by electricity!

Petrol is a non-renewable energy source because it is derived from finite fossil fuel reserves, primarily crude oil. These reserves take millions of years to form and are being consumed at a rate much faster than they can be replenished naturally. Once these reserves are depleted, petrol cannot be easily replaced in a short timeframe.

Petrol is actually, to some degree, renewable. It was formed naturally by the decomposition of organic matter over millions of years; millions of years from now, the earth's supply of fossil fuel will renew itself. However, because the rate of human consumption of petrol and other fossil fuels far exceeds its natural rate of renewal, it is, for our intents and purposes, nonrenewable.

No. It is a fossil fuel (coal, oil and natural gas).

Coal, oil and natural gas are all NON-renewable . They are fossil fuels and cannot be re-used. Renewable energy sources are wind power, solar power... Etc .... Hopefully helpful :)
